ANCIENT GOSPEL OF NICODEMUS||ACTS OF PILATE

Introduction

Gospel of Nicodemus or the formerly (first five Centuries) called the Acts of Pilate is the First Century Christian text written by Nicodemus or Early Christian or Assistant of Pilate. It is Quoted by Ancient Church Father or Apologist Justin Martyr As Authentic . There are Many things and Prophecies Scripture Records.But not Shown fullfiled in Period  of  Jesus. It is Found in this Gospel of Nicodemus or Acts of Pilate. There is a forged and real copy of this Acts of Pilate.

Justin Martyr(Mid 2nd Century)

 First Apology 35

And once more in other phrases, thru another prophet, He says, “They pierced My palms and My  feet, and for My vesture they forged plenty.”  And indeed David, the king and prophet, who uttered these things, suffered none of them;(Recorded in Gospel of Nicodemus)               but Jesus Christ stretched forth His hands, being crucified by the Jews speaking against Him and denying that He was the Christ. And likewise the prophet spoke, they tormented Him(Jesus), and set Him(Jesus) on the judgment-seat, and said, Judge us. And the expression,                                “They [had] pierced my hands and my feet,” was used in references to the nails on the cross which was fixed in His hands and feet. And Later He was crucified they cast lots upon His vesture [Clothes], and they that crucified Him parted it among them [Divided his Clothes]. And that these things did happen, you can ascertain(Find out) from the Acts of Pontius Pilate.”

First Apology 48

“And that it was prophesied that our Christ [Jesus] should/will heal all diseases | and raise the dead, listen what was said. There are these words: 

“In His coming the lame man shall leap as an deer, and the mute tongue  shall be clean speaking: the blind man shall see, and the lepers shall be cleansed; and the dead man shall rise, and walk about.” 

And that He did those things, you can learn from the Acts of Pontius Pilate.” – Justin Martyr

 This Verses is from Isaiah 35:6 which is Quoted by Justin Martyr in his First Apology written around 165 AD.

Justin martyr had refferenced many key things which is found in Acts of Pilate or Gospel of Nicodemus in this some instances stating Christ performed amazing miracles. Christ died on a cross with hands and feet pierced with nails in AD 32, which affirms the  fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecy concerning First Coming of Jesus.

Authorship

This Book may be Written by Nicodemus or Pilate .

Nicodemus is a pharsee who appears in Gospel John chapter 3, Who declares Jesus as the Messiah but affraid of Jewish authorities to open up publicly. He later with Joseph of Arimathea buries Jesus in a tomb and place called Garden of Joseph

Pontius Pilate(12BC-37AD) is a Person who gave order to Crucify/Kill Jesus because of the ignorance of Jews. He tried his level best to save Jesus but Couldn't. Later he believed in Jesus and made others emperor to believe but It is alleged that pilate, who was governor at our Saviour's crucifixion, in the reign of Caius,  fell into such calamities that he was forced to become his own murderer like he gnashed his to ground or he was made to like all emperor's were against him as he believed in Christ and Made others.

Manuscripts

It is said to be Originally Written in Hebrew which Many tells it is Written by Nicodemus.

The Earliest Parts of the book appears first in Greek. The text contains two parts, which are bit different in style and would seem to written by different peraon. According to the quoting found in Acts of Pilate, the original version was kept preserved in the Jerusalem at  Praetorium. The claims regarding  the original language is being discussed. Beyond the  Greek, other versions in syriac , Latin, Coptic, $lavonic, Gregorian and many other languages have survived.

There are Many Error in this Book, Due to many Inserts but Greek looks accurate.

The Versions of Book text are,

Part I is said to be the "Acts of Pilate"

 Part II is said to be "Christ's Descent Into Hell"

Every Manuscript is Variant but Greek is somewhat accurate.

Gospel of Nicodemus 16:1

[1]And while Satan and the prince of hell were discoursing among each other, suddenly there was a voice like a thunder and the rushing of the winds, saying,   Let your heads be lifted up, O ye gates; be lifted up, O you eternal doors: that the King of glory may come in.

Psalms 24:7(Fulfilled)

Let your heads be lifted up, O ye gates; be lifted up, O you eternal doors: that the King of glory may come in

These are the Prophecies Fulfiled when Jesus was Descended to Hell to bring Adam and their Children back to Paradise. Even Church Father Jerome affirmed.Paul said that 

Romans 5:14

[14]In spite of that death[Hell] had reigned from Adam to Moses, even to them who had not sinned after the Generation(similitude) of Adam's transgression, who is the figure[generation] of him that was to come.  

But Jude in his Epistle said that Satan tried to take the body of Moses,but lord did not wanted Satan.So Michael fought with Satan and Said "May Lord rebuke you" Jude Quoted the Lost Part of  Book Assumption of Moses. From Adam to Person died before Jesus death went to hell.

Apostolic creed also agree with this. The Prophecy here wasnt fullfiled in present Bible, but in This Book

2] Gospel of Nicodemus 16:7-8

7 . the divine(holy) prophet David, cried out saying,  

Didn't I when i was on earth truly prophesied and said, O that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men. Because he hath broken the gates made up of brass, and cut the bars made up of iron in sunder. He has taken them because of their iniquity, and because of their unrighteousness they are afflicted.

Psalms 107:15-17

[15]Let men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

[16]For/because he has broken the gates  of brass, and cut the bars of ¡ron in sunder .

[17] For Fools because of their transgression/Sins, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.

This tells us that of what is the doors of Hell made of.

Gospel of Nicodemus 16:9-11

9 Later, another prophet,  named holy Isaiah, spake likely to all the saints, didn't I correctly prophesied to you when I lived on earth?

10 The dead people shall/will live, and they shall/will Come to life again who are in their graves/dust, and they shall rejoice who are [living] in earth; for the dew which is from the Lord shall bring deliverance to them[Saints].

11 And I said in another place, O death[ie.Hell], where is thy victory? O death[ie.Hell], where is thy sting?

Note: Death here may Refer to Hell, But During Second Coming Dead reborn on Earth when Christ reign thousand Years.

Isaiah 26:19

[19]Your dead shall live[Come Back]; Together with my dead body[Isaiah] they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust[Grave]; For your dew is like the dew of herbs, And the earth shall cast out the dead[ie-Hell!]. 

The verse 11 is not found in Isaiah but it is Quoted in 1 Corinthians

12 When all the saints[Holy people] heard these things spoken by Isaiah, they cried to the prince of hell, 

Open now thy gates[Of Hell], and take away thine iron bars[(Describes hell)]; for you will now be bound(by Christ), and will have no power.

15 David replied to the prince of hell[beelzebub], and replied, I understand the words of that voice, because I spoke to them by his(lords) spirit. And now, as I have previously said, I say to you, the Lord is strong and powerful, the Lord is mighty in battle: Lord is the King of Glory, and he is the Lord in the heaven and in earth;

16 He has looked down(to hell) to hear the groans of the prisoners(people in hell), and to set loose those that are appointed to death.

Psalms 98:1-2

[1](A Psalm.) O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.

16 Afterwards, the prophet Habakkuk  cried out, and said, Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for the salvation of thy people.

In Luke 8:43

There was a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, she had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any

In Gospel of Nicodemus,He Quoted her name as Veronica.

Even Eusbieus Wrote concerning this woman called Veronica, on whom this miracle was performed, and the statue which she erected to the honour of Christ, in Euseb. Hist. Eccl. l. 7, c. 18.

Uses

1] This Book Consist of Many Prophecies From Present Canon Concerning Messiah which is not Found Fulfilled in Bible but in this Book. Even Justin Martyr Said Concerning this.

2]This Book Answers Lot of Questions of NEW TESTAMENT Just like Jasher like, Lukes Gospel allegedly  tells that Jesus Ascended in Bethany (Many asked about that but fact is Mount is located in Bethany.) Acts tells us that He Ascended in Mount Oliveth (But gospel and Acts was written by Luke ). Even Gospel of Nicodemus tells that about Ascention in mount of olives. In old testament Zechariah said Concerning Second Coming of Jesus....

Zechariah 14:4

[4]And in that day[Second Coming] His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives[Where Jesus Ascended], Which faces Jerusalem on the east[Bethany]. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, Making a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south[after his Descention to Mount oliveth].

In Gospel Luke, During Ascention of Christ Two Angel came and Said ,  ...Jesus who Ascended...In Same way he Come back during the Coming of Millennial Reign.

So this Answers the Question.

2]The Apostolic Creed which is Accepted universally in Christianity states"Christ descended to hell (or Some Manuscript states Dead)"

Which is Found in Gospel of Nicodemus part II

4]It tells us Concerning Blessed theif whom Jesus said in Luke that in this Day You will be with me in Paradise

5]It Gives Very Deep details Concerning Crufixion as mentioned by Justin Martyr which is Obviously True.

Fake Chapter or Inserts

1]Chapter 22 is Mainly Considered as Insert Due to Complete Contradiction to Bible. It States that World was Created in 5500BC but Bible tells us that it was Before 4000BC as per my Calculations it is Around 3925BC. See the Post Concerning Creation dating and timeline.

This Gives Calculations different in 2 Manuscript one Sums 4964BC another 5350BC.

Both the Latin manuscript Contradicts itself and This part is not in Greek manuscript.

Comparing Latin I and Original Calculation

It States that Flood occurred in 2212AM which According to Bible and Original Book of Jasher is 1656

and from the Flood to the building of the tower, five hundred and thirty-one years; and from the building of the tower to Abraham, six hundred and six years

It States 2212+531+636=3379AM but latin II states, 3124AM. 

But According to Bible and Original Book of Jasher It is 1656+282 =1948AM

 And from Abraham to Arriving of Children of Israel , (470) 3379+470=3849AM but the Bible and Original Book of Jasher states (420) 1948+420=2368AM

And Coming out of egypt to the building of the temple 3849+511=4360AM But Bible and book of Jasher states (430) 2368+430=2798AM.

and from the building of the temple to the destruction of the same temple, four hundred and sixty-four years - 4824AM But Bible and book of Jasher states that (486)2852+486= 3338 AM

And from the Babylonish captivity to the incarnation of Christ, four hundred years.4824+636=5460AM

But Bible and book of Jasher states that 

3338+487=3925AM

Later It states,

It sums 5500 as you Know I've Calculated from that Manuscript and found 5460BC

But it's actually 3925BC

Comparing Latin II and Original Calculation

And from Moses to David the king(510AM) 3554+510=4064AM. But Bible and Original Book of Jasher states that (486)2368+486=2854AM

18 And from David to the Babylonish captivity, five hundred years 4064+500=4564AM But Bible and book of Jasher states that (486)2854+484= 3338 AM

And from the Babylonish captivity to the incarnation of Christ, four hundred years.4564+400=4964AM

But Bible and book of Jasher states that 

3338+487=3925AM

Later It states,

It sums 5500 as you Know I've Calculated from that Manuscript and found 4964BC

But it's actually 3925BC
